Gamal Mubarak will not run for the upcoming presidential elections
Sources close to former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak that his psychological condition is in very good condition after the rejection of the cassation appeal public prosecution to release his sons Gamal and Alaa in the case of presidential palaces and sources pointed out that the deceased met his family in the hospital and celebrated the ruling and said Sources said that Mubarak had told the attendees: "If I were the president of al-Sisi, I would have decided to appoint Gamal as prime minister, using his former luster, Mahmoud Mohieldin, Rashid Mohamed Rashid and Youssef Boutros-Ghali because they can save Egypt in this difficult period.
The Court of Cassation issued a final ruling rejecting the appeal filed by the Public Prosecutor's Office against the decision of the Criminal Court of 12 October 2015 to release former President Hosni Mubarak's sons Alaa and Jamal on the issue of presidential palaces and supported their release.
According to the prosecutor's appeal, the court made a mistake when it included the remand of Gamal and Ala in the cases of "killing the demonstrators" and "the stock exchange." The defendants were acquitted of the acquittal.
In its memorandum, the Public Prosecution demanded the annulment of the Criminal Court's decision and the re-imprisonment of Alaa and Gamal Mubarak on the basis that the convicts did not complete the sentence in the case of presidential incapacitation.
The Cairo Criminal Court decided to release Alaa and Gamal Mubarak from the case of presidential failings for a period of three years.
